Who can take Nurse Aide Class?
The class is open to anyone 17 years of age or older. The state of Kentucky requires that students pass a criminal background check, drug screen and two-step TB skin test.
How long does it take?
The nurse aide class takes 13 class days to complete. These 13 class days can be completed in one of two ways:
1. Traditional – This option involves daily classes attendance followed by clinical at our main location
2. Blended – This option involves an online study, then in-person clinical at our main office

What is the total cost of taking the class?
The total cost is $850-$1,150. This includes a non-refundable registration fee of $150. The price includes the cost of the book, drug screen, and background check. HETI covers the state exam cost and provides each student with a scrub top and blood pressure kit.
Is my Kentucky License recognized by other states?
Each state is different. If you plan to work in a state other than Kentucky, you need to check with that state to check their reciprocity policy.
